Shane Read

Shane is a passionate cyber security professional with his career over the past 20 years in Defence, Federal Government, Blue-chip companies and fintech start-ups.  His time in the Australian Department of Defence and Federal Government has allowed Shane to excel in designing and implementing Risk-based cyber security environments.  This strong foundation was then further accelerated as he moved into CISO roles for regulated multinational companies in Asia and the Middle East.In addition to being the General Manager for Goldilock in Australia and New Zealand, he also is a trusted board advisor and board member to several companies helping them navigate the evolving cybersecurity landscape. He has recently returned to Canberra, Australia following 9 years in Hong Kong and Singapore with his family.
